Review:
4 stars
This book intrigued me from the moment I read the synopsis of the story, and because I have not read anything before reading Secrets in Our Scars by Rebecca Trogner, I didn't have many expectations for this novel. If I had, I honestly believe after finishing reading, this book would have surpassed my expectations.
This is about a broken woman, who has suffered much in her life, and a man who justs wants to love and to be loved by her. Daisy and Roy were absolutely wonderfully written characters who have chemistry from the moment they first meet. This story was about learning to trust one another, and it was done fantastically. Their relationship was nicely paced, and not rushed at all.
I would definitely recommend this novel, if you can handle what the novel is about. I definitely felt that this was a quick read, and I look forward to reading more by Rebecca Trogner.
