This is the second book in the Hamilton Family series. This book was easy to follow along without having read the first book. There might be minor information or details that you miss out from the first book, but not anything that I felt was substantial to the point that I could not follow along with the story.

I really enjoyed seeing the relationship between Eric and Shelby develop throughout the story, and how the love blossomed between the two of them. I love just being able to read books that are completely focused on the relationship every now and then, and this book was perfect for that.

I would definitely recommend this book to other contemporary romance lovers because it is a great one to read. It hooked me from the beginning and had wonderful characters that you could relate to and love.
